It seemed like a pretty good idea, since the whole point is to become famous and you obviously need a record deal to do that. The way this will work is that there are a few different record labels and members can create producers/managers/whatever from these different record companies. Instead of playing in a band, these characters will act as scouts, searching for new talent to sign. You don’t have to sign to the first label that asks you; there are a few different ones for you to choose from. This way, not everybody ends up getting signed under the same label.

For you to get signed, the record label character must approach you, not the other way around. You may PM the member if you wish to set up a thread, but ultimately, it’s his/her character that decides whether or not they want to sign you. Once you sign on with that label, you can begin writing/recording an album and it’s their job to get you interviews on television and radio shows, plus some more publicity.
