NEW YORK CITY


The center of the universe.

This city never sleeps, and neither does the music. Hopefuls from all across the world head to the Big Apple in search of fame and glory, but only the select few rise to the top and achieve superstardom.

The biggest names in music.
The major record companies.
The hordes of screaming fans.

New York is a rockstar’s dream. But as high as the city can take you, it can also drop you much lower; most hopefuls end up on the streets or heading back home, their dreams crushed. This city can swallow you hole, or make diamonds out of coal.

Do you have what it takes to survive in the capital of the world, or will you end up in the gutter like so many others before you?

Is yours the sound of our generation?

These City Lights is a music RP, set in New York City. Instead of playing as famous and popular bands, you will RP as beginners; bands migrating to NYC in hopes of hitting it big. You may have some established fame and fan base, but it’s all locally and for the most part, underground. The entire point of the RP is the journey to become famous; the evolution of a small band that nobody’s heard of into a cultural phenomenon.
